  • Subway: TTC Dundas Station (Line 1) – direct access
  • Streetcar: 505 Dundas stops right at the square
  • Driving: Multiple paid parking lots nearby (Eaton Centre, Atrium on Bay)

Pro Tip: Take the TTC. Parking downtown in December is expensive and limited.

Tips for Visiting Winter Glow

  • Go on weekdays: Weekends get crowded, especially closer to Christmas
  • Dress warm: It's outdoors—wear layers, warm boots, and gloves
  • Bring cash: Some vendors may be cash-only
  • Visit at night: The lights are most spectacular after dark
  • Opening night for freebies: Dec 11-14 has the SHEIN giveaways

Why You Should Go

Winter Glow is one of the few FREE holiday events in downtown Toronto. While the Distillery Winter Village charges $15+ on weekends, Sankofa Square offers free admission with affordable ride tickets. It's perfect for families, couples on a budget date night, or anyone wanting to soak up holiday vibes without breaking the bank.

The 45-foot Ferris wheel with Toronto skyline views is worth the $6 ticket alone.
